It’s been nearly a year since I’ve started The Office Elf so I think it’s time to re-introduce myself.
Hello! I’m Dorothee.
I’m originally from France, but I’ve lived in Australia, Canada and now in the UK (North Yorkshire).
I originally trained in Marketing and I started my career in the independent music industry in France. And that was a lot of fun!
After a few years as a marketing/event manager, I naturally switched to Admin and Accounts roles in various industries. I’m a spreadsheet addict and I love filing!
I’ve decided to become a VA because I couldn’t find a company I wanted to work for around me.
So I’ve created my own!
Supporting small business with their administration and bookkeeping tasks (and everything is between) is what brings me joy.
I focus on businesses working in the sustainable field. I choose that field as it resonates with my personal values and beliefs. Because sustainability is the way forward to preserve our resources, I love to work with entrepreneur or companies who put the environment, the people and sustainable development at the core of their values.

Oh I’ve just become a certified yoga teacher, but I’ll keep that story for another post.
And I'm apparently mastering the weirdest French/North Yorkshire accent!
